OUR COMPANY
Calm, practical support for retirement document organisation
Latterly was founded in Bangkok to fill a quiet gap: the need for a patient, non-pressuring resource to help individuals understand and organise their retirement paperwork before seeking professional guidance.

How Latterly came to be
Latterly started in 2019 when its founder, a former records administrator with experience across public and private pension systems in the UK and Thailand, noticed a recurring pattern. Friends and colleagues approaching retirement often felt anxious not about the pension itself, but about the paperwork. Documents were scattered, labels were missing, and the language used in official letters was difficult to follow without a background in pensions administration.
Rather than add another financial intermediary to the market, the decision was made to create something simpler: a place where people could come with a box of papers and leave with a clearer picture. No products to sell, no commissions to earn — just practical organisational help delivered at a relaxed pace.
Since opening in Ratchathewi, Latterly has worked with individuals from a wide range of professional backgrounds, nationalities, and retirement timelines. Some arrive years ahead of their expected retirement date; others come needing to organise papers on behalf of an older family member. All are welcome at whatever stage makes sense for them.
Our values
-
Patience over speed
We never rush a session or a conversation. Understanding takes time, and that time is built into everything we do.
-
Scope and honesty
We are clear about what we do and what we do not do. Organisational support and general information — nothing beyond that.
-
Clarity of language
All our materials are written to be understood on the first read — no jargon, no assumed knowledge, no small print.
-
Respect for the individual
Each person's situation is different. We do not apply standard scripts; we respond to what is actually in front of us.

HOW WE WORK
Standards we maintain
Document confidentiality
No copies of personal documents are retained after a session. All materials brought by participants leave with them. We do not hold, scan, or photograph any personal records.
Plain-language review process
Every piece of written material we produce is reviewed for readability before use. We test with readers outside the pensions field to confirm that explanations land without prior knowledge.
Clear scope boundary
Sessions never cross into advice. Facilitators are trained to recognise when a question requires a qualified professional and to direct participants toward the appropriate type of help.
Post-session feedback
Every participant is invited to share feedback after their session or series. This is how we refine our materials, adjust session length, and improve the experience over time.
Data protection compliance
Contact details and booking records are handled in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Data is not shared with third parties and is held only for operational purposes.
Annual materials update
Reference materials and checklists are reviewed each year to reflect any changes in common retirement documentation formats, government forms, or filing practices relevant to the contexts we cover.
OUR POSITION
Organisational support, not a regulated service
Latterly occupies a specific and intentionally narrow space. We are not a financial planning firm, a pension advisory service, or a legal representative. We do not act on behalf of participants in dealings with pension providers, government departments, or financial institutions.
What we provide is the kind of patient, practical help that many people find genuinely useful before they reach the stage of professional consultation: understanding which documents are relevant, knowing what is typically required, having a filing system that holds up over time, and feeling less overwhelmed by a subject that can seem more complicated than it needs to be.
Bangkok has a significant expatriate population with complex retirement documentation needs spanning multiple countries and systems. Latterly is one of the few locally-based resources focused specifically on the administrative and informational side of that complexity — and one of even fewer that takes a deliberately unhurried approach.
